Superfood Porridge

Begin your morning right with this delicious Superfood Porridge for two made with creamy hemp milk, toasted seeds, flax, chia and fresh fruit.

Serves 2


1 cup of rolled oats

2 tablespoon of flax seed

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1/2 cup of water

1 cup of hemp milk

1 tsp of agave/maple syrup

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

1 tbsp cashew nuts

1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1 small banana chopped

fresh fruit to top


Begin by adding the oats, cinnamon, flax, chopped banana, chia seeds, water and hemp milk to a non-stick saucepan.

Heat on a low to medium flame and continuously stir.

Meanwhile, lightly toast the nuts and seeds in a dry pan, stirring every so often so that both sides begin to pop and brown.

As the porridge begins to thicken, you may need to add a little more hemp milk if you wish.

After 8-10 minutes the oats should be ready to serve.

Top with the toasted nuts, seeds, and an array of fresh fruit. Blueberries and strawberries complimented the dish perfectly, as well as a few cherries on the side to nibble on too!
