Supergreen smoothie bowls are my favourite.
They are cool on the tongue, packed full of nutrients and a great way to switch up your breakfast routine. I have combined oats, both fibre and protein along with a daily omega 3 kick from a chia seed sprinkle. The star ingredient here is avocado. This hearty fruit makes the bowl yoghurt like and extra creamy!
Made from start to finish in a couple of minutes, this quick and easy smoothie bowl requires no prepping just blending!
1 ripe banana
1 handful of spinach
1/2 cup of oats
3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp spirulina
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blitz. Add extra water or more almond milk if the mix is a little too thick. Pour your smoothie into a bowl and top with banana slices, extra date syrup and a chia sprinkle.
